Welcome to your ‘Beach and Backwaters of Kerala’ tour! On arrival at the airport in Kochi or railway station in Ernakulam, you will be met and transferred to the hotel / resort in Kumarakom.
The rest of the day is at leisure. One can enjoy a backwater cruise (boats can be hired on direct payment basis).

Today after breakfast, proceed to Varkala. Located in the south Kerala at north end border of the district Trivandrum, Varkala is an ideal beach destination in Kerala. Cliff clad beaches and pretty vibrant environs give a joyous feel that attracts beach lovers or honeymooners.
On arrival, check in to the hotel / resort in Varkala.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the fascinating views of sand and sea. Overnight in Varkala.
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Varkala including Papanasam Beach and Janardhanaswamy Temple.
Papanasam Beach (also called as Varkala beach), is considered to have medicinal and curative properties hence the name 'Papanasam beach'. It is a long and golden beach with a stunning backdrop of red laterite cliffs from which healing mineral water springs forth.
Varkala is also famous for the 2,000-year old Janardhanaswamy Temple, which is an important Vaishnavaite shrine in India and is often referred to as Dakshin Kashi. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu that was largely rebuilt in the 13th century.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities like sunbathing, wind surfing, parasailing.
Overnight in Varkala.
After breakfast, proceed to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey - Kerala’s Venice of the East, a heartland of lagoons and mangrove fields, inter-linked with hundreds of narrow winding canals.
On arrival, check in to the hotel / resort.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the scenic surroundings of Alleppey or one can also enjoy a backwater cruise (boats can be hired on direct payment basis).
Overnight in Alleppey.
Today, bid farewell to your ‘Beach and Backwaters of Kerala’ tour, as you are transferred to the airport in Kochi / railway station in Ernakulam for your onward journey.
