Today, after a hearty breakfast, proceed to visit the St. John’s Church and Tibetan Market.
The charming St. John’s Church, a neo-Gothic stone structure is built in 1852 amid the picturesque valley of Mcleodganj at a distance of about 8 km from Dharamshala. With its exquisite Belgian stained-glass windows depicting John the Baptist with Jesus, it was among the first buildings to be erected here by the British. The structure is so powerful that it survived the 1905 Kangra earthquake which destroyed most buildings in Kangra, Mcleodganj and Dharamshala.Later, visit the Tibetan Market, a street full of souvenirs stalls, Tibetan handicrafts, Thangkas, Tibetan carpets, garments, etc.Post sightseeing, return to your hotel.The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the scenic surroundings.

After breakfast, proceed to Dalhousie, en route visit McLeod Ganj the hill station, named after David McLeod, the lieutenant governor of Punjab in 1848, is primarily a Tibetan settlement. Also known as ‘Little Lhasa’, this hilltop retreat, is the home of the spiritual leader, Dalai Lama and many monks and nuns. Nestled amidst the majestic hills and lush greenery, it is a major pilgrimage center for Buddhists.Later, continue your drive to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Today morning, proceed to visit the Ajit Singh Memorial at Panchpula which commemorates Sardar Ajit Singh, a freedom fighter and uncle of martyr Bhagat Singh who breathed his last on the day India gained independence. His Samadhi at Panchpula is a picturesque spot with a natural tank and water flowing under small bridges. Later, continue to the exquisite Satdhara Falls which has acquired its name from being the waterfall that brings together seven gorgeous springs. The legend states that these falls have therapeutic value as the water is said to contain mica and medicinal properties which are able to alleviate several ailments. This amazing waterfall is set amid a very pleasant surrounding in Dalhousie and offers beautiful views of snow-covered mountains, surrounded by pine and deodar trees. This place gives an excellent experience to the guests, who are in search of peace sand tranquillity. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Post breakfast, proceed to Khajjiar, en route visit Khajjiar Lake, which is often labelled as the mini Switzerland of India. Fed by small streams, this lake rests in the centre of the large glade of Khajjiar, surrounded by evergreen cedars. The lake is a popular tourist spot of Khajjiar where people can enjoy numerous recreational activities or can enjoy the beauty of the landscape..
Then, continue your drive and check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Khajjiar.
Today, bid farewell to your 'Himalayan Retreat’ tour, as you are transferred to the airport / railway station in Amritsar for your onward journey. (B)
